New website

HHA are very excited to have a new website. The web address is still the same but the content has been reorganised and tidied up a bit. If you have previously saved pages from the old website you will need to re-save these with the new website.

We hope that you like it.

Do you have Resources to Share?

On the new webpage we have the capacity to add your  locally developed resources that you are happy to share with others.
If you would like to share your posters, brochures etc, so that others can download them, please send them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Learning Management System - New Instructions

As part of the new HHA website redevelopment, the Learning Management System Instructions have been updated.

There are now three very useful documents to assist all users with the LMS, whether they are a Learner, Organisation Administrator or Region Administrator. The documents have been seperated out by User role and can be found here for Learners, and here for Administrators. Please use these documents as your first point of reference if you or any of your staff are having difficulties with accessing or using the LMS.

HHA Manual Review & Update 2018

As usual, HHA staff have been busy undertaking a full annual review of the HHA Manual.

Updates to the manual have included:

  • the redirection of any links to the new location on the HHA Website
  • details about HHCApp enhancements and improved functionality that has been introduced since June 2017
  • slight changes in text to ensure consistency with the changes made to the HHA Online Learning Packages in December 2017
  • slight restructure of some of the Chapters in alignment with the new HHA website structure

The latest edition of the HHA manual and a full list of the updates that have been made can be found here.

HHCApp user tidy Up

HHA have begun a project to assist you with maintaining your auditor lists and your auditor validation checks. Each organisation will be reviewed to ensure that all auditors are meeting the current requirements. Organisations will then be contacted with an individualised list of auditor compliance.

https://www.hha.org.au/audits/auditor-training/auditor-validation-requirements

Once your organistion has been reviewed, HHA request that the following be completed in order to ensure all auditors are validated and up to date.
Please ensure that those auditors who:
1. HAVE NOT completed the online module, do so
2. HAVE collected some data but not enough, collect enough to meet the 100 moments requirement
3. HAVE NOT collected any data, as indicated on the spreadsheet, follow the lapsed auditor pathway found here: http://www.hha.org.au/UserFiles/file/WorkshopResources/AnnualAuditorValidationinclLapsedAuditors.v4.pdf

HHA would appreciate the above steps being completed within one month of receiving the email. After this time we will be in contact with you to ensure this follow up has occurred and any auditors who have not completed the outlined requirements at this time will then have their auditor role removed.

In the meantime HHCApp has undergone an “automatic tidy up” of auditor/user/admin lists. Auditors who have not collected any data in more than 2 years will have their auditor role removed. These auditors will become “users” in HHCApp (not deleted) and will be able to have their profile reattached as an auditor once you are able to confirm that they have successfully completed the lapsed auditor pathway.

Also, as a part of the “automatic tidy up” you may find that some people with admin roles will lose access if they have not logged in for the last 2 years.
If there is anyone who this affects that still requires access, please reply with their name, email and if possible HHCApp username and we can have them reinstated.
